PAs in Obesity Medicine

PAs in Obesity Medicine is an AAPA caucus comprised of PAs around the country practicing or interested in obesity medicine. The vision and mission of this organization is to strive to represent PAs practicing or interested in obesity medicine so as to maximize the benefit of their services to the public, ensure their professional growth, personal excellence, and recognition to support their efforts to enable them to improve the quality, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of patient-centered health care to patients with obesity. We work closely with our peers and other organizations in educating PAs on obesity medicine and treating this growing epidemic.  Our goals also include spreading obesity awareness and education through CME opportunities, conferences and mentorships.
