Rogue Rhythms: Tackling the Challenges of Emergency Cardiac Arrhythmias

Emergency cardiac arrhythmias can be encountered by the PA from the emergency department to the outpatient office. This lecture, through case-based presentations, will give the attendee exposure to the most common cardiac arrhythmias and discuss the risk factors for each arrhythmia, possible clinical presentation, and options for therapeutic interventions.

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
Identify common electrocardiographic features of emergency cardiac arrhythmias
List the potential clinical manifestations of each emergency cardiac arrhythmia
Describe the initial therapeutic options for each cardiac arrhythmia
