Physical exam of the lower extremity is complex and it is often challenging to differentiate potential diagnoses. During this interactive workshop, participants will learn to perform musculoskeletal exams from the hips to the ankles. Attendees will learn how to distinguish among common lower extremity disorders by performing specialized exam skills. Attendees will also be guided through identifying anatomical landmarks and finding appropriate placement for various lower extremity injections. A hands-on introduction to ultrasound-guided injections will also be provided. Participants will be partnered to practice exam techniques so please wear clothing suitable for proper examination of the lower extremity.
