NTS: Contraception Counseling 101: Providing Patient-Centered Care

The U.S. has one of the highest rates of unintended pregnancy in the developed world. In recent years, the rate of unintended pregnancies has decreased due to initiatives to increase access to contraception counseling. It is imperative that healthcare providers across medical specialties are well-versed in contraceptive methods to provide equitable access to reproductive health care. This course will allow participants to provide information and guidance to patients interested in starting medication to prevent pregnancy. Through completing this course, participants will fortify their skill set in providing high-quality reproductive health care for patients.
