This dual perspective session, from practicing PAs in hepatology and nephrology, will provide important clinical care practice updates on diagnosing and treating hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) in the hospitalized patient. The session will begin with an overview of the pathophysiology of HRS and will be followed by patient-centered case vignettes to aide with the practical application of clinical presentations and available treatment modalities.
