This will be a fast-paced, cased-based, and high-energy presentation that reviews the management of thrombocytopenia in hospitalized patients. This session includes a review of multiple etiologies (including life threatening) of thrombocytopenia and their workup and management. The faculty will discuss ITP, DIC, TTP, HIT, and other common causes of thrombocytopenia. Audience polling will be used to to drive home key concepts for attendees. Frequent pop culture references and excessive dad jokes are present throughout for "edutainment."
