SIS: So, You Want to Do a Survey?

Surveys are widely used to evaluate perceptions of clinical program quality and safety, effectiveness of constituent chapter initiatives, clinical workflows designed to prevent burnout, and/or the effectiveness of a continuing medical education program. While new researchers often use surveys to study important questions, high-quality surveys that align with best practices of survey research may be challenging to develop. This 90-minute interactive session, designed for anyone interested in deploying a survey, provides a step-by-step approach to planning, developing, validating and deploying a survey. Participants will develop questions, participate in a validation exercise and identify a survey deployment plan.
