The Heart Failure Society of America estimates more than 6.5 million Americans over the age of 20 have heart failure with nearly a million new cases of heart failure diagnosed annually. Primary care providers are integral to the treatment of heart failure patients. Guideline-directed medical therapies in 2024 are complex and require a strong understanding of implementing therapies and mitigating barriers to care. This session will review current medical treatments and strategies for success.

Identify barriers to care and mitigation strategies for heart failure patients
