Seeing Double: Clinical Approach to Diplopia in Primary Care

This session will provide an in-depth exploration of diplopia, focusing on its physiology, pathophysiology, and the clinical approaches to diagnosis and management. Attendees will learn to differentiate between monocular and binocular diplopia, identify common and urgent causes, and develop a differential diagnosis based on clinical findings. The talk will also highlight the importance of interdisciplinary care, discussing the roles of primary care physicians, neurologists, ophthalmologists, and other specialists in managing patients with diplopia.
