In this presentation providers will encounter the most common types of vaginitis and leave with an understanding of how to turn the angry vagina back into a positive living environment. The identification of presenting symptoms and microscopic findings along with best practices for treatment in primary care practices will aid primary providers in getting their gynecology patients treated without delay or waiting for a referral to subspecialty offices. At the end of this session, providers should feel confident treating routine and even resistant forms of vaginitis.
