SPOCUS's annual meducational ultrasound event for students!
This year we will offer students a chance to show off their point-of-care ultrasound skills, compete with other students from around the country, and learn from ultrasound experts across a variety of medical specialties.
Plan on about 3 hours of scan time, plus an additional hour if your squad makes it to the finals!
During the event, students will not only get tons of hands-on scan time, but will also answer clinical knowledge questions, interpret ultrasound clips, provide suggestions on improving image quality, and integrate information into clinical scenarios. Pre-competition information and study materials to help you prepare will be sent out after registration.
No time to review pre-course information beforehand? Not super sono savvy? Bad wifi connection? No worries! It's meant to be fun medutainment with a chance to interact with sono-savvy PA pros on all topics PA and POCUS! Ultrasound beginners are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
$150 per team of 3-5 students or $30 per individual.
Max two teams per program. If a program has multiple campus locations, each location is allowed 2 teams max.
