CE: .5 AAPA Category 1 CME
Research in Action (RIA): 25-minute research presentation, eligible for CME
This presentation explores gaps in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) screening for women with a history of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in primary care. We demonstrate how electronic health records and targeted interventions improve GDM documentation and T2DM screening adherence. Attendees, including those working in primary care, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, and research, will learn actionable strategies to enhance preventive care and reduce T2DM risk in high-risk populations.
