In this networking session, attendees will practice negotiating techniques for PA students and new graduates. A micro short lecture on negotiating techniques will be offered. Subsequently, PA students will be provided with vignettes to practice salary negotiations.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
Summarize effective strategies for securing an ideal job offer
Discuss strategies for negotiating salary and benefits effectively
Identify and analyze the critical components of an employment contract
Identify strategies to effectively negotiate job offers and navigate career transitions as a PA.
Discuss how to leverage your experience and knowledge for a transition to non-clinical roles such as leadership, research or PA education
