In this timely presentation, we’ll review the current state of vaccine-preventable diseases, with a focus on recent measles outbreaks in the U.S. and globally. We’ll explore the broader challenges impacting vaccine uptake—ranging from misinformation and distrust to supply chain and access issues—and how these contribute to the resurgence of diseases once thought to be under control. As frontline healthcare providers, Physician Assistants are uniquely positioned to be trusted messengers and advocates. This session will offer practical strategies to support vaccine confidence and promote community health through evidence-based public health measures.
