James Hill is a retired emegency medicine PA, having graduated from the Duke University PA Program in 1976. He spent 42 years as an actively practicing PA and was selected as the Duke University PA Program Alumnus of the Year in 2019 and is currently in the Duke PA Hall of Fame. He is a past preident of the NCAPA and past president of the NC Medical Society Foundation Board, also serving on multiple professional committees. He has a M.Ed. in Counseling. Jim currently serves as the PA Consultant to the COPD Foundation.
