Dr. Gerald Kayingo is the Leslie S. Robinson, MD Endowed Professor, Chair Health Professions Education, Executive Director of PALLA and an assistant dean for research and professor at the University of Maryland. Kayingo has extensive experience in scholarship, education, leadership, clinical practice and global health. His research interests relate to health professions education, and health systems science. His clinical interests are in primary care settings, diabetes and endocrinology as well as advancing rural and global health. He trained at Yale for his master’s in medical science, hold MBA from University of Illinois and a PhD in Microbiology.
