Susannah has practiced in Pediatric Emergency Medicine for the last 10 years at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has held leadership roles there as the Lead APP in the Emergency Department and continues to serve as the Director of PA Student Education, providing elective rotations to students from across the country. She is an assistant professor and the Director of Clinical Education at The George Washington University Department of PA Studies. She has presented at the Physician Assistant Education Association, AAPA and is currently working on research, aimed at understanding facilitators and barriers to PAs practicing in pediatrics.
