Dr. Howard Straker has been a PA for almost 40 years. He has practiced correctional, family, emergency and adolescent medicine in settings across the country. He is an associate professor of PA Studies at George Washington University’s School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and Prevention & Community Health in the Milken Institute School of Public Health. He directs the joint degree PA/MPH program. He is a graduate of the Yale University Physician Associate Program and earned his Masters of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and his Doctorate of Education from the George Washington University.
