Dr. Kari Bernard has been a PA since 2004 and a PA educator since 2014. In 2020, she completed her doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus on the professional well-being of the healthcare workforce. Between 2022 and 2024, Dr. Bernard developed a staff wellness program for 2000 employees at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. She has published several healthcare well-being studies and regularly presents on provider well-being topics at state, regional, and national medical education events. Dr. Bernard is currently the founding director of the College of Idaho’s Doctor of Medical Science program.
