Sharil Orellana is a third-year Physician Assistant student at Seton Hall University and will be graduating in May 2025. She attended Franklin & Marshall College and was the first in her family to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Experiences such as working as a medical assistant and undergoing clinical rotations have allowed her to care for and educate individuals—primarily from minority backgrounds—in need of acute and long-term care. Although she intends to pursue plastic surgery, these experiences have fueled her desire to care for underserved communities once she becomes a PA.
