Kathryn Reed is a certified physician assistant and the founder and president of the National Society of Black Physician Assistants (NSBPA). She received her B.S in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 and her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. Kathryn has practiced in family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. She now holds a faculty appointment in the University of Pittsburgh Department of PA Studies where she is Vice Chair for Equity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement and an Assistant Professor in the Hybrid Program.
