Sierra Acker is a physician assistant student in the joint Master of Public Health and PA program at George Washington University, with a concentration in child and maternal health. As an NHSC scholar, she is dedicated to addressing health disparities, specifically for women and families. Sierra practices leadership and advocacy in healthcare within her role as class co-president and has worked with organizations like Community of Hope to explore innovative FQHC models and expand healthcare access. Guided by her background in public health, she takes a collective and holistic approach to medicine. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors.
