Dr. Jeremy L. Nelson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and an Emergency Medicine PA with over 14 years of experience across urban, rural, and academic settings. Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within the PA profession, Dr. Nelson focuses on expanding educational access and empowering underrepresented communities. An active leader in AAPA and PAEA, he advocates for policy changes to remove barriers for aspiring PAs. Through teaching, mentorship, and research, Dr. Nelson aims to create a more inclusive and equitable future in medicine.
