Gary earned his Athletic Training degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995 and a Master’s in Sports Medicine from the University of Oregon. In 1997, he joined the Steadman Hawkins Fellowship and later worked there as a staff ATC. He completed his Physician Assistant certification at Cornell University in 2003 and has since worked with Dr. Noonan at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver. An active presenter since 1998, he has lectured nationally, internationally, and published research on baseball injuries. Gary currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Orthopaedic Department at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
