Dr. Ted Johnson earned his MD from Northwestern and completed Internal Medicine and Geriatrics training at UNC-Chapel Hill (1996). Dr. Johnson is the Chair of Emory Family and Preventive Medicine where he works closely with the Emory PA Program.
Dr. Johnson was a co-investigator for the CDC-funded trial of the STEADI fall prevention toolkit in primary care and for the NIH trial examining avatar-based delivery of a fall prevention programs. He serves on the American Geriatrics Society Advisory Committee on fall prevention and is particularly interested in the impact of urinary tract symptoms on fall risk.
