Richard Rosenfeld is a Distinguished Professor of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate, where he founded the Committee for Plant-based Health and Nutrition and is faculty advisor to medical students for the Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group and Downstate Initiative for Nutrition Empowerment. He is the Director of Guidelines and Quality for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is a Board Member of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Rosenfeld follows a whole food, plant-based diet, runs marathons, and enjoys regular weight training. He has been listed as one of America’s Top Doctors for more than 20 years by Castle Connolly.
