The purpose of this study was to describe the lived experience of PA leaders in academic, clinical, and healthcare executive roles and to create a conceptual framework for leadership in the PA profession through a lens of health equity. Using a phenomenological approach, semi-structured interviews were utilized to collect data. Twelve themes were determined for the challenges, strategies/best practices, success measures, and recommendations for PA leaders creating the C-SSR PA Leadership Model.
