Over the past three decades, I practiced clinically for the first decade and taught/led PA programs for the past two. Prior to becoming the GW department chair of PA Studies, I founded the Boston University PA Program and served as Dean/Program Director of the Yale PA Program. I received my DBH degree from Arizona State University, MMSc. (PA) degree from Emory University and B.S. from Seattle University. I serve as the Chair for the PAEA Research Mission Advancement Committee. My research interests include trends in PA education, transition to practice, and CME impact on changes to medical practice.
